COQUÍ Trailer (2026)

“Somewhere in Ponce Puerto Rico, a young girl named Ana is angry when her family doesn't let her plan her own quinceañera. As a result of her anger and the meddling of a mischievous vejigante spirit, Ana transforms into a chatty Coquí frog.”

Coquí is a thesis film developed during my final year at the Maryland Institute College of Art. It is a mixed media love letter to the island of Puerto Rico that pushes the boundaries of cultural and visual storytelling. Coquí is currently on its festival run and set to release sometime during 2028.
